NOTHING

Well Got the results back from the draw and I got nothing. So Regular Elk, Moose, Archery Mule Deer and White tail deer for me.
On a lighter note I will be out on September 1st for the beggining of the 2011 Goose season. I will post pics after the first hunt provided we get lucky and shoot some birds. This year it will start with a few new faces in the group. Cody Volek, Ryan Gareau and Roman Z will be out with us for opening morning. Should be a lot of fun for the first time hunters.

New Idea

Well since Devon and my self do most of our hunting together and we both want to start filming our adventures a Field/lake I thought why not start our own name. So I came up with D&C Adventures. I know how original. Originally I wanted to call us BBD (Big Buck/Bull Down) But then seen it on a episode of The Crush on Wild TV. So The next best thing was D&C Adventures which also allows us to show off our fishing trips as well.
As for the filming thing, We did not do to well this year. First I hit the record button twice on a mule deer doe that Devon shot on our Zone 10 trip only to find it did not record because I hit the button shutting it off.
Then Devon got his revenge on my Mule deer buck. We walked up on him to about 50 yards and Devon did this awesome intro while I set up my shooting sticks and filmed this buck making a scrape. He said take him and BOOM. The buck dropped in its tracks I jumped up to hi-five him to notice the red light was not blinking on the camera. So Devon got his pay back. We both learned that filming is a lot harder then we thought it would be. But practice makes perfect. Next year will come sooner then we think and we'll try again.
